Dubrovnik Airline is a young company and therefore every day we are trying to improve and develop our services, fleet and working conditions. Here are some of the new things which could be easily notice from the outside of the company:

New aircraft

The second aircraft joined our fleet. We continued with our practice to name the airplanes according to Dubrovnik City's fortresses and after Revelin we have now Lovrijenac. Both mighty fortresses gave there names for our MD 83 airplanes which are performance vise the best in our fleet.

Lovrijenac as well as Revelin is equipped with 167 seats and with additional fuel tanks which allow flights for more then 6 hours. With nice and vivid interior and with our beautiful and friendly cabin crews we succeeded to create a pleasant environment for our passengers, the confirmation of which we already received from our tour operators.

New offices

Our offices are situated at the Dubrovnik Airport. We started in a relatively small number of rooms, operationally well equipped but with every day increasing number of employees, to small for normal work. Almost immediately we started with a project of conversion an old warehouse into the new offices. The project is now in the final phase and in the next few days we will move into the new and adequate offices.

After the completition, Operational part of the company (Dispatch, Planning and Ground) will be situated in the separate annex, attached to the main building, which will allow independent 24 hours work without the need to have the rest of the offices open.

With a few modern and functional architectural ideas we manage to build nice looking premises. Wide stairs are leading to the reception room and further on into the offices, conference room or archive. We created the space for normal and peaceful development for the next five years.

New uniforms  

Among other details which connect our company with the Dubrovnik area (names of the planes, flag, name of the company etc.) we were trying to use some elements of the traditional national costumes from Konavle region, well known for its beauty, for our uniforms. Beautiful decoration on the girl's shirts were ordered from the old women in the region and attached on the shirts. Visual effect is really very nice and a lot of our passengers are asking where they can buy the shirts or the decorations.

Of course, having real decorations, create a lot of fuss with attaching them each time on the shirts. In attempt to solve this problem, we finally find the factory which can embroider those decorations directly to the shirt. At the same time we will slightly change the uniform allowing the traditional decorations on the shirt to be more visible. It is planned to change all shirts and uniforms until the end of the July.
