Dubrovnik AIRLINE
, is now
finishing its third summer season of operation. In the previous
two seasons we have managed to build a well organized and
successful company, while this season has done nothing but
proven that the effort we exerted continues to results that are
both real and excellent.
At this moment, Dubrovnik Airline owns five aircraft (two of which are MD-83 and two MD-82), and employs over 200 people. While we carried around 380 000 passengers in all of 2006, in only the first eight months of 2007, we have taken 360 000 people to their destinations, so that we can now safely say that this year will significantly surpass last year?s figures. Furthermore, we planned for an increase of 17% in our number of flights, but have so far achieved a very high 37% increase, thus surpassing even the most optimistic expectations.
As a confirmation of our fight for high professional, organizational and safety standards, we have invited the IOSA auditing organization, a highly respectable aviation institution to perform an audit of Dubrovnik Airline. I can proudly say that we are the only charter company to successfully complete this thorough and demanding process.
Amongst our
other achievements, it is worth a notice that we have been the
first company in Croatia to acquire a license for training new
pilots on the type, according to our standards, programs and
procedures, thus building a company with a highly instilled
safety culture and professional outlook, based on standards
that we have set for ourselves.
We shall soon be entering the winter season that will be marked with continued operation in a period in which most charter companies have a hard time finding jobs, and we are already far along in preparing our fourth summer season. This sets our next season?s goals even higher: thus a sixth airplane will soon be entering the Dubrovnik Airline fleet.
I hope that you too, in the days ahead, will be on one of them, and will be able to see for yourself the comfort and safety of flying that Dubrovnik Airline crews strive to build day after day,
